Living Oaks; Called to Be a Greenhouse

GREENHOUSE: a place where people can find a safe & protected environment in which to grow. A place where individuals will be fed, nurtured and supported with the light of God, the nutrients found in solid truth and biblical teaching, and the love of community.

Christian Counseling

We offer both one hour and 90 minute counseling sessions for adult individuals and couples. Based on the client's preferences and needs, sessions may include: cognitive therapy; prayer ministry; Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT); Biblical counseling, attachment therapy. Clients may be asked to make the personal investment of time outside of the session; reading, videos, journaling, etc. This enhances the work that is done when meeting with a counselor.

Sessions may be held in person, in one of our two locations; Niagara, Wisconsin & Monroe, Wisconsin. Sessions may also be conducted via telephone, Zoom, FaceTime or Facebook Messenger.

Christian Fellowship

We grow best through relationship & in community. Knowing the important role "belonging" plays in our personal growth and inner health, Living Oaks Ministries desires to provide opportunities to gather. We often host simple events including: fellowship breakfasts, topical discussion groups, book clubs, cookouts and hangouts.

Sometimes these events lead to deeper connections & friendships, spiritual discussions, prayer and worship. Other times, we simply enjoy being seen, heard and welcomed in.

Training & Teaching

We provide a variety of opportunities for growth & discipleship. We host seminars in the area of spiritual formation & Christian growth. Seasonal retreats are sponsored, as well as small groups, support groups & book studies
